2012 AAU Workouts: 17u, 16u, 15u, 14u, 13u, 12u, 11u and 10u
4th, 5th and 6th grade tryouts/workouts will be held on Saturday February 4th from 9-11am and Sunday February 5th from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
7th and 8th grade tryouts/workouts will be held on Saturday February 4th from 5pm to 7pm and Sunday February 5th from 2pm to 4pm.
9th, 10th and 11th grade tryouts/workouts will be held on Saturday February 25th from 10am to 12noon and Sunday February 26th from 12noon to 2:30pm.
King Street Kings is an elite and expanding program that competes on a regional and national level. Top teams in all age groups. Workout location is 445 Scotland Road in South Orange, NJ at Marylawn Academy. Parking and entry in rear of building. Practice facilities are located at Marylawn Academy and in Livingston, NJ at Newark Academy. Facebook = King Street Kings.

Programs with three ranked teams are prioritized first followed by teams with two. There were no programs with teams ranked in all three grade categories for 2011. The King Street Kings (K.S.K) is a heralded AAU basketball program that competes on a statewide, regional and national level with other top AAU teams. We are a non-profit youth service organization based in Essex County, New Jersey. We are funded primarily from donations and have 501c3 tax status. K.S.K. believes that we can use basketball to lay the foundation for well adjusted, competitive and successful young adults.
Our goal is to make our players understand what it takes to achieve excellence in any endeavor. Our boys start with the common baseline of enthusiasm for basketball and we leverage that to build a broader set of positive and enduring traits. We are firm believers in the benefits of sports and can think of no better way to instill work ethic, team orientation, discipline, goal setting and many other positive characteristics
The strength of our program is evidenced by a record of success unrivaled within the NY/NJ/PA tri-state area. We broadly dominate the middle school and under category. We have state and regional championship teams in all of our age categories and every KSK team has qualified to represent New Jersey in the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 United States National Championships. Our teams are made from the best available basketball talent in the tri-state area and have players that commute up to an hour to participate in the program.
Our program was established in 2007 and has become a regional mainstay and a well recognized national brand. We continue to attract and develop top talent and each year our program expands...and the individual team results improve. We are located in basketball rich New Jersey with several national HS powerhouses and a wealth of elite HS programs within 30 minutes of our program. Our players are now attending these high schools. Our playing motto is Play Hard, Play Smart, Play Fair...Be a KING! Our program motto is Live Like a King, Play Like a Tyrant!
